A medical student of the Niger Delta University, NDU, identified as Uzakah Timi Ebiweni, committed suicide after failing an exam.

According to online reports, Uzakah Timi Ebiweni who is a 300-level student took the drastic step after failing his MBBS exams.

Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery, or in Latin: Medicinae Baccalaureus Baccalaureus Chirurgiae, are the two first professional degrees in medicine and surgery awarded upon graduation from medical school.

MBBS graduates get the designation of ‘Dr.’ before their name and can be called themselves as ‘Doctor'(medical)

After failing his MBBS exam, Uzakah Timi Ebiweni, plunged into Amassoma River in Bayelsa State.

Timi allegedly started giving hints via his WhatsApp stories by initially posting a candle light and then changing it to the picture of a candle with its light blown off.

No one knew his status was about him killing himself till the deed was done.
