World NO 2, Naomi Osaka has crashed out of Wimbledon in only the first round, as she also couldn’t bare the press conference that followed, thus cutting it short.
It was an upset at Wimbledon yet again as Naomi Osaka was dumped out in the first round Monday as the two-time grand slam champion was flummoxed on the grass by Yulia Putintseva.
Yulia Putintseva was having her first shot at Wimbledon but you could hardly tell. Ranked 39th in the world, she capitalized on an error riddled performance from Osaka.
Putintseva took the first set on a tie break and then broke Osaka in the second set’s fifth and seventh games to win the match 7-6 (7-4) 6-2.
Having beaten players in the world’s top 10 seven times in her career, Putintseva never looked fazed against Osaka, unsettling the 21-year-old with her lethal backhand slice.
“I did a good job,”Putintseva told the BBC. “I think my grass court play is getting better.”

Naomi Osaka walks out of press conference after Wimbledon exit
It wasn’t easy for the 21-year-old as she struggled to hold back tears during an emotional press conference.
When asked how she has picked herself up in the past, Osaka said:
“The key for me was just having fun, I guess, kind of taking pressure off myself. I hope I can somehow find a way to do that.”
After contemplating answering the next question about how difficult it has been to adjust to her new level of fame, Naomi turned to the moderator and said:
“Can I leave? I feel like I’m about to cry,” before walking out of the press conference.
