Naira Marley hits 1 million Instagram followers, after EFCC arrest kikiotolu

Nigerian singer, Naira Marley has just hit one million followers on Instagram. His social media page has been on a rise since his arrest by the EFCC.

A recent check on his Instagram page by KikioTolu News, revealed that the singer has now joined the list of Nigerian celebrities who have surpassed the 1 million mark on Instagram.

Singer, Azeez Fashola, was recently released from prison custody few weeks back, this was after his arrest by the EFCC for alleged internet fraud.

The singer was arrested and charged to court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on 11 counts of cyber crime.

Justice Nelson Oweibo granted a N2m bail to the defendant with two sureties in like sum.

The judge said one of the sureties must be a civil servant not below Grade Level 10, while the other must own a landed property within the court’s jurisdiction.

He adjourned the case till October 22, 2019, for the commencement of trial.

After his release, Naira Marley went on the release a new dance and song ‘soapy’ which has since gone viral while also sparking more controversies.

Earlier this year, on March 30 2019, Zlatan Ibile also passed the 1 million mark on the social media app.
