A lady who identified herself as a Mammy Water worshipper has courted controversy after she went on video to burn a Bible, while also calling it fake.
The mammy water worshipper in Ghana said in a viral video that the Bible is fake and powerless as she sets the bible on fire.
Mami Wata (Mammy Water) is a water spirit venerated in West, Central, and Southern Africa, and in the African diaspora in the Americas. Mami Wata spirits are usually female, but are sometimes male.
The lady can be heard in the video saying;
“My belief ehn, i believe in water spirit mami water because without water you cannot do anything, you cannot sleep.
There is no power in the name of Jesus, there is no power in the name of God, there is no power in the name of Jesus.
We are Africans, we should believe in our culture and believe in nature.”
