Eniola Aluko death has hit many hard, after the 19-year-old Nigerian, was shot dead in in a south-east London car park.
According to the police in south-east London, a fifth arrest has been made in relation to the incident. Those arrested include;
An 18-year-old guy, who was arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in police custody.
Three teenage boys and a 17-year-old girl were also arrested on suspicion of murder, though they have been bailed until mid-July.
How was 19-year-old Eniola Aluko shot dead in London?
According to UK’s Metropolitan Police, Eniola Aluko died after sustaining gunshot wounds to the neck and chest.
The incident took place around Plumstead Railway Station, and also at a peak time when a lot of pople must have been around.
The police say a distress call was put across by residents of the area at about 5:00 p.m. The police arrived the scene and found the deceased with gunshot injuries on his neck and chest.
Detective Inspector John Marriott, while speaking on the incident, appealed to anyone who saw something or have any useful info to contact the police.
He said: “I am continuing to appeal for anyone who was in the area at the time, who saw or heard anything suspicious to contact police. The shooting took place not far from Plumstead Railway Station and I would urge anyone who was commuting to or from this station to come forward.”
“It was also sunny at the time and a number of people would have been enjoying the weather in the area of Plumstead Gardens; I need you to come forward. Although we have now made five arrests I am continuing to ask for your help to progress this investigation”.
