CORPS MEMBER DONATES HAND SENSING WATER DISPENSER TO A MOTOR PARK IN KWARA


Corps member Abdulazeez Olawale Shobajo has donated a Solar powered Automated Hand Sensing Water and antiseptic Soap dispenser to popular Maraba Motor Park in Ilorin East Local Government Area of Kwara State.

This is part of his personal community development service project which is geared towards combating the Spread of COVID -19 in the area.

The dispenser is strategically positioned at the entrance of the park for easy use and to also serve as a preventive measure for people who make use of the park.

While receiving the project, the Chairman of the park, Alhaji Abdulwahab Ajetumobi appreciated the initiative of the corps member and pledged that every one that comes into the park would be made to use the device.

The Chairman further added that for a corps member to have devised a project in that particular busy motor park has shown that National Youth Service Corps is truly a scheme that is impacting in the lives of the rural communities.

He therefore promised the union readiness to be identified with the scheme in Kwara state, especially in the fight against the spread of COVID-19.
