Ritualist den discovered beside Ondo State House Of Assembly [See Photos]

An uncompleted two-storey building beside the Ondo State House of Assembly, was on Monday discovered to be a hideout of kidnappers and ritualists was on Monday discovered.

An eyewitness told Fabinfos that the shocking discovery was made by the residents of the area who suspected that some men were always inside the building performing numerous secret activities on a daily basis.

The residents made a move so as to know the activities taking place in the building. On getting to the premises the suspects made moves to escape. Though the residents, with the aid of commercial motocycle rider, were able to get hold of four suspects, and waited for men of the Special Anti Robbery Squad (SARS).

Many shocking discoveries were made after the Police men gained access into the building.

A long rope suspected to be used by the kidnappers in hanging their victims was discovered, mattress cut into a size which they use to block the mouths of their victims whenever they want to cry out was also found.

Other items discovered in the uncompleted building were empty bottles of clothes, shoes, women bras, pots, plates, spoons as well as cooking ground inside the building.

Reacting to the shocking discovery, the Ondo State Police Public Relations Officer, Mr. Femi Joseph, said many suspects have been arrested in connection with the case. He said;

“We have arrested quite a number of them and we are currently interrogating them. It is after the interrogation and investigation that we can conclude whether they are ritualists or not.”
